  • Warnings & Precautions

Due to inhibition of the cough reflex by butamirate, the simultaneous administration of expectorants has to be avoided, because it may lead to accumulation of bronchial secretions in the respiratory tract, which increases the risk of bronchospasm and airway infection.

In patients whose symptoms worsen or do not improve within 7 days, and/or occur with fever, rash or persistent headache, consider additional investigation for an underlying cause.

Do not take for more than 7 days without speaking to a doctor.

Paediatric drops are not for use in children under 2 years of age unless with a medical prescription.

Keep out of sight and reach of children.1
